Our Commitment to the Environment

All development in Del Pacifico at Esterillos is planned concientiously to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the region. Del Pacifico was once a working cattle ranch so, full of pastures and rolling hills. We have been very fortunate in that our masterplanners have been able to plan building around where trees exist, rather than the alternative.

Town founder William Ramirez, who leads our construction, is constantly looking for new ways to “build greener”. Some of our custom homes use environmentally-friendly

In 2007, a water treatment facility was opened. The treatment plant services the condos, town center & houses where it cleans the waste water for reuse. At the moment, the water is added to the stream going through the property near the stables, but after the golf course is developed it will be used to irrigate the golf course.

In 2011, students from Roland Park Country School in Baltimore, Maryland spent two weeks at Del Pacifico to begin a reforestation project on the beach side of our property. This land is pasture land at the moment but will soon have almond trees growing to attract scarlet macaws.
