Newspapers
While the majority of the media in Costa Rica is in Spanish- there are media outlets that cater to the English-speaking ex-pat community.
English Language Newspapers:
The Tico Times was established in 1956 and is the only Costa Rican English language print newspaper. It is a weekly publication and comes out every Friday.
In addition to this, there are English language online news sites- Inside Costa Rica, Costa Rica Frog, The Costa Rica News and AM Costa Rica.
Spanish Language Newspapers:
The main newspaper in Costa Rica is the daily La Nacion. You will also find Al Dia & Diario Extra available in most shops.
